Dr. Grant,

I wanted to take the time to express how grateful I am for the organization, but also to give a special acknowledgment to Cynthia and Beverley with my case.

My case was submitted for rental assistance last year, of June 2022. Raneisha was my original case manager and then passed it on to Cynthia in December of 2022. The Property Manager at the time, gave me numerous obstacles regarding the approved application and payment towards my rent balance. She even went to the degree of sending the second issued check, back to the organization.

However, that did not stop Cynthia for taking the initiative to extend herself beyond measure to help me. She was in constant communication with me and also the area Vice President to help me with not losing my home. She then, asked Beverley to step in and she was also very determined to help me. She was in contact with other organizations to see if I qualified for other rental assistant programs, calling me and returning my calls nearly 2-3x a day for a month. The persistence, the amount of care, and the professionalism I experienced from both of these women truly made a difference in such a difficult time in my life. I felt as though, they were family to me, constantly uplifting me with words of encouragement and giving me the hope I truly needed. There were times I was even in tears on the phone with Beverley, but she gave me reassurance that everything will be okay. Almost as though, I was a daughter to her. I know that this is their profession, and there’s a level of care expected to help people but they truly touched my heart the way they chose to help me. I’ll never forget the treatment from them.

If there’s any program or award/certificate of excellence I can nominate them for, I would be happy to do so.

As a 2 times war veteran, FACAA has helped me help myself. I have chronic illnesses (physical & mental). I don’t have to worry about being cold during the winter or overheating during the summer. I can focus on getting things under control that I can control. The staff is wonderful, patience, caring, fast & accurate, and good manners.

Dear Sir/Madam. I would like to commend Linda, Ms. Johnson and other employees for their excellent customer service. I had the pleasure of talking with them and others at the Kelly Street location. These two ladies went above and beyond the call of duty. Their listening skills, knowledge, patience and willingness to help is second to none. They answered my questions in a timely manner and gave me their undivided attention. Kudos to them for a job well done. Thank you all for all you do for the community.
