LIHEAP is a Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program that helps to keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist with energy costs. LIHEAP is a seasonal program that assist with heating and cooling costs. Please note that all services are provided by appointment only.
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is available to all income eligible households in Fulton County and the City of Atlanta. This program offers a payment of $400, $500, or $600 once per program year to be applied to your home energy bill.
We will begin accepting appointments for seniors (65+) on December 2, 2024, at 11 a.m. for January appointments. Appointments for the general population will open on January 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. for February, until funds are exhausted.

Please bring copies of all required documents to your scheduled appointment.
If someone is representing an applicant, they must provide a copy of their state ID and a signed letter from the applicant giving permission for the representative to sign on their behalf.
