The Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority (FACAA) has served more than one million residents through the carefully planned administration of social services, advocacy and community education.

Programs

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP is a Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program that helps to keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist with energy costs. LIHEAP is a seasonal program that runs annually between November - March.

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) provides emergency assistance to low-income individuals, including the homeless and seniors.

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)

Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) provides funds to assist low-income households with water and sewer bills. This program is currently closed.

Legacy Programs

The Academy for Life

Academy for Life is a life skills curriculum focused on empowering individuals to achieve economic self-sufficiency through career development and life skills classes.

Advocacy

FACAA is involved in local, state, regional and national advocacy to assure that the well being of those who are unable to speak for themselves is protected.

Affordable Housing

FACAA is a housing counseling agency and seeks projects that enhance the quality of living for low-income citizens, help citizens become homeowners and aid them in saving their homes.

Financial Assistance

Occasionally, there are funds that can be allocated to assist families and some individuals with financial needs. However, requests are considered on individual merit and approval is not guaranteed.
