CSBG Program

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a federally funded block grant that provides housing, nutrition, utility, and transportation assistance, employment, education, and other income and asset-building services to under-resourced communities. FACAA  uses these funds for emergency assistance services and homeless prevention. Please note that all services are provided by appointment only.

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) provides emergency assistance to low-income individuals, including the homeless and seniors.

There is no deadline for applying to this program; applications can be submitted throughout the year. However, the application process will close once funds have been exhausted. All services are provided by appointment only.

What documents are required?

Please bring copies of all required documents to your scheduled appointment.

  • Current gas bill and electric bill (Must show your name, full address, account number, and amount due.) 
  • Proof of income for the last 30 days for all occupants over 18 years old
  • Social Security cards for all household members
  • Valid Photo ID (Driver’s License, Permanent Resident Card, Passport, etc.)
