POSITIONS:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Seasonal LIHEAP Receptionist to support our Low-Income
Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) during the busy application season. This role serves as the
first point of contact for clients and provides administrative support to ensure the application process runs
smoothly.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet clients and visitors and provide excellent customer service.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to general program questions.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments.
  • Assist applicants with forms and required documentation.
  • Maintain organized files and assist with basic data entry.
  • Direct clients to appropriate staff and manage front desk operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and interact with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive client information.
 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended period.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.

 

ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • Seasonal position during the LIHEAP program cycle.
  • Office-based role with frequent interaction with the public.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug test and background check.
