When You Need A Helping Hand.
There comes a time when we all need a helping hand. FACAA provides immediate emergency assistance and services for those times when you need it most.  We provide the following emergency services: 


Emergency Assistance

·         Assistance to avoid evictions and foreclosures

·         Resources and benefits to ensure shelter or housing with goal-oriented
     case management

·         Emergency food assistance

·         Energy assistance to prevent disconnection

·         Services for homeless individuals or families  

 

SPECIAL NOTE: Services are available on a “First Come, First Served Basis” and are distributed based on available funding and supplies. Please contact our office right away to determine eligibility, availability of funds and supplies, and to complete an application, where necessary.

Funds are available for assisting persons experiencing

Eviction 

Mortgage Crisis

Threat of Utility Disconnection (non-LIHEAP)

Job Loss, Income Shortfalls or

Plans to Establish Your Own Business

 

Eligibility will be determined through an interview and assessment meeting.  Administering assistance will be based on your willingness to participate in classes and training.  Financial Assistance will be awarded only to those who can demonstrate the need and a willingness to strive for the outcomes established in a work plan. 

 The Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority is an Academy for Life.  We want our services to have a lifetime impact.

Did You Know . . .
FACAA was among the 183 grantees of U.S. Department of Labor’s YouthBuild program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which is also known as The Stimulus Plan.  There were only two metro Atlanta organizations to be awarded.
