A RICH HISTORY

georgia mapThe Fulton County Action Authority (FACAA) opened its doors in 1991 to provide a wide array of services to low-income individuals and families in Atlanta and Fulton County. Since it’s inception, FACAA has helped more than one million residents through the carefully planned administration of social services, advocacy and community education. Our mission is just as relevant today as it was when we first started and we passionately continue our work to make a positive impact in the community.


FACAA has a corporate office based in N.E. Atlanta and four outreach centers located in North Fulton County, South Fulton and East Atlanta, which enable us to connect with the community and ensures accessibility of services

Did You Know . . .
FACAA was among the 183 grantees of U.S. Department of Labor’s YouthBuild program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which is also known as The Stimulus Plan.  There were only two metro Atlanta organizations to be awarded.
